New XO dealer – Norway
Giramar AS is now appointed importer and dealer for the Finnish Giramarboat brand XO Boats in South-Norway; from Østfold county in the south-east to and including Rogaland in the south-west. With this appointment XO Boats has completed their long sought-after distribution and dealer network in Norway. Earlier this year, Marine Team AS was appointed for Mid- and North-Norway and Motor-Drange AS for West-Norway. Giramar is already the importer and distributor of; Sea Ray Powerboats, Beneteau Sailing yachts in Norway and a dealer for Clipper and Explorer Motor Yachts in South-Norway.
XO Boats’ design and DNA originates from the challenging conditions of the Finnish outer archipelago. This environment has dictated the main design features that make XO. The long water line, slim shape and extra deep V hull made of aluminium, ensure the smoothest possible ride in all seas. This unique design enables a thrilling driving experience that allows the driver to explore the sea when others stay in port.
The XO Boats model range cover powerboats in the range from 22 to 36 foot. September 2016 will see the introduction of XO’s new flagship, the XO 360, at “Båter i Sjøen”, the floating show in Oslo.
”We are really excited to start working with XO Boats ”says Harald Korn, CEO at Giramar. ”XO is very much complimentary to the boats already in our portfolio, and we are already used to working with products for the discerning owner. The XO is the boat for people who had several boats before and is ready for something really special. This is the Porsche of the seas!”
Calle Nyman, sales manager at XO Boats says ”Giramar, with their fantastic showroom and location in Leangbukta in Asker, is just what we have been looking for. XO will fit really well together with the other brands represented by Giramar and all the other companies in the beautiful marina”.
The first boats are already on the way to Asker! From beginning of July, Giramar will exhibit the latest XO 250 with outboard engine and the famous XO 270 Cabin equipped with sterndrive diesel engines.
